This is my first time making a Japan themed map, since I really like the style of this kinds of maps I am giving it a try.This, as you can see, its the RED base. It needs more detail but I'm leaving it like that until I finish the rest of the indoor area.

I'd base further decisions on how it looks in game, but I can say now that those holes will probably be too small and the tearing on the side barely noticeable

Actually, speaking of detailing: how's the FPS with all of those models?

what should i add here?

well it all depends on the theme of the map. if your going for a Badlands/dustbowl look (which I think suits) I think you should add maybe a small outhouse or something like that.

of course if it's in the gameplay space you might want to put down a building you can enter, like dustbowl stage one first cap. this would create a place for spy's and engineers to safely set up camp and a area of retreat for other classes if the fighting gets hectic.

but if it's outside of the space and just for decoration. think about maybe having a track and a small building leading out into the distance creating a map that looks like it could exist in tf2.

of course these are just idea's and it is your map so do what you wish and put anything there (no matter how NSFW it is!) but I hope this helped. ;):)

Wip Kalinka tesla coil effects particles by @Exactol

For your next trick, make it target players in the area and zap them with the Cow Mangler effect. Kinda like Half Life does in the test chamber level where you push the crystal into the anti-mass spectrometer and things go to shit and you're teleported around.

Well i already have a buliding for getting though, so any ideas for a barrier?
nobody will be able to help you based on one completely nondescript, contextless screenshot of your map. help us help you. tell us more about your map, what gamemode, what theme you're thinking about, what part of the map that screenshot is from, etc. then maybe someone will be able to give you constructive advice.
