I have too many projects!

So, I decided to orphan a couple of my neglected projects. I might add some more to this list in the future. Up for grabs is so far is Overgrown and Split.

What it is:
A 2cp A/D map in the jungle/ borneo theme. This was my entry for the Summer 2015 mapping contest. It features a pretty neat train mechanic that allows you to ride the train after capturing first point into a flank area deep into Red territory. At the time this was written, this map is #10 top rated all time map on the Workshop.

What it needs:
An overall gameplay polish wouldn't hurt. Personally I was planning on remaking everything behind the first capture point up until the final area, so I'd start there. The train also has some bugginess with the doors/ and can sometimes cause players to get lodged in the train itself. I was sort of thinking about getting rid of the doors all together and just making it really risky (especially for Red) to run down the track path. Then of course, a full artpass/ polish is still needed.

What it is:
A 3 stage plr map with some unique mechanics trying to make the first two stages matter more, and the only map (afaik?) that splits the payload cart in half. The first two stages add hazards on your own teams final capture, making it harder for the opposing team to win. This was made for the Winter 2015 72hr contest. At the time this was written, this map is #31 top rated map on the Workshop.

What it needs:
Some gameplay TLC would be definitely on the plate for this one. Making the point of each round stand out more, and communicating why the teams have different things on their last to the players (I thought a light up board in spawn might help a little bit.) This also needs a full artpass, as it was made in a rush during the contest. This one admittedly needs a lot of work still, so it's a big project to take up.

How to apply
I'm pretty proud of these maps, so I'd like to see them go far. This means I'd like to keep them invite only. What I'd like to see from those interested is some experience in "finishing" a map, with a few maps under their belt. Nothing against all the new mappers, I'd just like someone proven take these up!

If you're interested in working on them, either comment below with some examples of your work (especially if I don't know you), or PM me if you'd rather keep it private. I'll wait a bit before I pick someone to work on them!

If you do work on one of these map, I won't be fully hands off (unless you want me to be), I'll be around to answer questions about logic/ discuss the layout/ whatever you need. We'll be partners on it. And of course, if you get it to a fully polished state, I'll gladly make a video for my channel showing off the new version and promoting it, as well as highlighting some of your older work.
