Does anyone know how this could've occured?

It only occurs whenever I aim the camera at a certain angle. So far, this hasn't caused any problems in the map, I'm just wondering if anyone knows what could be happening here.

I'm not being showed anything, but if something fucks up at certain camera angles, this is just another Hammer bug. I'm aware of existence of 3 such bugs, 1 consisting of disappearing brushes, another of the view in general going fubar and the third occurs when a texture in the scene is being transformed through VMT (like the 45° gridlike glass) and in the Textured Shaded mode, consisting of other textures being transformed as well. Such a ton of info because the image is broken, at least for me.

I've noticed those too, and the picture shows that the nodraw texture was being stretching upward into the void (probably towards the map origin, disappears when I try to look) from multiple brushes, some being far from the camera, some being to the left, right, and so on. I don't know if it's a visual bug with hammer, like you said, or something else.

Also, hammer's sanity relies on game cache to an extent. Try verifying it if hammer screws up completely before anything more radical.
