Very sad news for me. Freyja is my one of my most favourite mappers and her maps are so beautiful. I hope Freyja gonna get well soon.
I just don't want the same story in Mappers community, which happend in Gmod animatiors community

Well, in this cage in my opinion giving first post 'Respecfully Disagree' rating wouldn't be as rude as giving 'Like' rating or even worse - 'Funny' rating

A very good free mobile game is Warlight, it's basicely Risk with a couple more rules to adapt it to mobile. The campaign missions are fun, but custom missions let you play the map of Games of Thrones for instance, as you can play any user custom maps. Really recommend it if you're into strategy, it's easy to pick up and deep at the same time, and can distract for hundreds of hours.

Gosh, I feel so bad for not seeing this thread earlier. Freyja, you're great staff member and constantly inspire us with new work, whether it be through new map themes or ideas. I'm not going to tell you to get better, because that's out of your control, but I do hope that you try your best and strive to get through it all. I wish you luck and hope you have a thorough and swift recovery.

Thank you everyone for your well wishes. Treatment continues onwards and I'm not sure when I'll be back to normal life but I hope to return to mapping as soon as I can.

That's some horrible news, but good news that you're on track to recovery!

You do truly make the most beautiful maps ever published onto this site along side YM.

When she last chatted with people, she was moving along. Slowly regaining her ability to walk, and was on like round 3 or 4(?) of Chemo. I think she's almost done with it, I don't recall if she said if there was a planned 4 or 5 rounds she'll have to go through.

A note of good news though, it sounds like she will be spending Christmas at home.

Hey everyone.

Just to update you, I'm now home and no longer stuck in hospital so I will be around on the forums and chat. Chemo hasn't finished yet but the doctors seem to think the cancer is all gone, but I have a scan next week to confirm.

Walking is still extremely difficult and I get around in a wheelchair for most daily tasks, it is unknown at this point if my spine will heal or if the cancer left permanent damage, but with a few more months/years of rehab I should be able to walk without support. I've recently just started to train with crutches to walk short distances and that is going well.
