I'm looking for someone who will edit the map and has experience using hammer
trade_plaza_2 map
for me I have specific ideas and I will list them here

Control Point outside
Crates around control point

Tunnels from spawn leading into mini side room (Dark Room)

Admin room semi-large above dark room
Large window looking out of admin room
Things in admin room

Easter Egg saying Selty somewhere

Text on wall listing staff members saying this:
-Geo-Raven-Celty-DemoPan-Daithi-Mapanza-

Objects in dark room

Pool in centre of room
Fence around pool
2 holes either side Red and Blue
Holes big enough for Heavy to fit

Tree house either side on top of trees (if they r in game)

Tunnels from spawn to outside either side

I will add you on steam and will take on this project, that is if you havent found anyone yet.

Also I appreciate you compensating, some users don't see the need to and ask if we can make an entire map for free. Which doesn't usually work out.

Afaik, the original creator of trade_plaza didn't say that people can't alter the map. Why do you think there are so many derivatives of it?

That's now how it works. By default all works are deemed the property of the author (and that others legally can't alter it) UNTIL consent is given to modify it.

There are derivatives but they may have gotten individual permission, or more simply want to ignore the law. I'd encourage the mappers here to always ask permission out of respect for each other because I doubt many here would like some of their own work being stolen or built upon, but really the law should be enough.

i get that you guys care for standards/morals of editing a map, but the reality is that there are 100+ variants of this map and if the creator cared we would know by now, especially given that it's been 6 years.

This is about legally as well, not just standards/morals (it can be argued they're the same though). My intention is to just make sure people know what they're getting into with the work they do not even just for this specific thing. People can very much get into trouble down the line if they think they can edit any/every map just because everyone else does or other justifications.

Obviously, all I'm saying is that in this particular case it's been made pretty clear, while not explicitly, that the author (@The Asylum) wouldn't care at all.

I understand that concept very well, and I'm sure the OP does too.

I talked to him personally and he allows all the edits. This has come up multiple times guys, try to remember from time to time.

What I'm not sure about is trade_plaza_2, which I believe is someone else's edit of the map. I don't know how you guys feel about editing edits of maps.
