cp_daytrip - Currently just a thumbnail until a playable version of the map is released.

Heya all!

I've been working hard on creating a new map after I finished koth_avalanchev3.

The map is attack/defense and based in a quaint neighborhood within Japan.

The first release candidate is complete and can be found on the workshop here:

There are no resupply cabinets or spawn points on the upper level of Red spawn due to the exit leading to a walkway overlooking the point.

And finally, using a few assets from the Frontline! Community Pack: http://frontline.tf/

Full compile with LDR complete. The map will be posted within a few days for playing on (I wish I started this map when the asymmetrical contest started). Here are some new screenshots. I will update the original post with these as well:

I want to make an intro video for the map to include on the Workshop when I post the map. The video would just be showing around the map in a no-clip style with smooth movement and camera panning. Would SFM work best for this? Recording the map while flying around with no-clip ingame feels pretty jerky and not too smooth.

Thanks!

Download is still an imgur link for me too. Does workshop subbing not download the map or am I doing something wrong?
When you subscribe on the workshop the map downloads to the steamapps/workshop/content folder within Steam. It may be in a 440/775688428 folder in the content folder. The Steam workshop is a little wonky. You can input the following command in your console without the quotes to load the map after it has finished downloading as well:

"map workshop/775688428"

Edit: TheClaudioAmericano beat me to it.
