waterworks - A Arena Map that tries to make the Arena Game Mode more fun
This Map is based on Venedig and is played in the Arena Type Gamemode.
I always loved Arena but it was just annoying to wait after you died.
So now that i was mapping (even if only bad Maps) i wanted to start on the reason i started mapping . Making arena more fun. So i thought what didn't i like about arena the first Thing was the waiting time so i thought what could i do against it. Maps like Volcano forced Players to fight with rising Lava. But i didn't want People to get into an enclosed Area.
The Point unlock feature from Stock Valve was a good Idea but i felt it was to slow and didn't rly force players because it took some time to capture.
So i made it only 30s to unlock and a faster Capture Time.
Next off i always wanted to get right into combat when i played arena.
So i made the Map pretty small but still multiple Routes
This Map will most likely have many Problems but i want to see where the Map goes and hope it makes Arena more fun again.
