is there a sniper in either of the windows? I have no clue. there's way to much crap in there for my brain to process anything. I feel like it undermines your mid a great deal.

@Muddy put fades on the stuff in the windows, so that the detailing is still there, but you can see contrast better from a distance

Feedback on tiny details:

This looks a little weird with this little corner sticking out. At first I thought it was a brushwork mistake, but then I realized it was part of the weird cimney thingy. Though the fact that I thought it was a mistake at first might say something. Maybe pull that right side top brick out a bit to cover the bottom bricks? (Same on both sides)

None of the power lines on BLU side line up correctly with the metal thingies.

The sides of this wood platform don't have the wood textures horizontal.

To me, this sudden texture change just looks really weird. Again, I honestly thought it was a texturing mistake, which probably says something about it. (Same on both sides).

This red patch on the wall just looks really weird imo. Its fine for the BLU side, as I think it fits nicely, but on the red I don't really like it.

Though it would be awesome if you put the sign here, so people saw it when walking out of spawn, instead of that odd time when they turn around (same can be said with the McCloud Beer sign on red side).

I think it makes more sense this way, cos that's where the wood's been cut.

I want to keep those texture changes in, cos otherwise it's just a boring flat wall. Might put trims or something where the textures change, idk.

Trims would look much better imo. To me right now, it looks like it transitions from a bunch of small bricks to big cement blocks, so its not just a color change, its really the "material" change that bothers me I think. Trims would help show that its changing correctly.

That and the grime should be similar across the whole wall instead of the grime being somehow taller on the blue part

You know, I never noticed that before...

Ever since I artpassed this map, I've had trouble finding good blue brick textures, and rickety metal structures just don't suit the layout or the theme.

Yeah, there are too many metal textures and not enough bricky or woody textures! Maybe you could try the yellow brick textures from mannhattan instead; it could be a nice contrast from the team/white palette you have on the majority of the map.

Generally I like to think of the team color palettes as red and white, and blue and banana-yellow. So those yellow bricks wouldn't look too off for the BLU side.

yes I am still working on this

General:
* FPS improvements
* detail improvements (ft. watergate texture blends)
* clipping improvements
* made the lighting less bland
* blockbullets'd all the stairs (not sure why I didn't do this earlier but here we are)

Control Point:
* added func_nobuild to the fountain so you can't build minisentries in it anymore
* the fountain particles now extinguish anyone who's on fire (experimental, might end up sucking balls)

Spawnyard:
* smoothed out the curved road going uphill (actually phi did this, thanks phi)
* moved small health up to the raised platform

Pub:
* changed RED's pub to look more café-like (featuring boomsta's excellent coffee machine and cash register props)

Brewery:
* moved the ladder up away from the gameplay space so people don't get confused and try to climb it
* added a crate-climby route from the mid entrance to the upstairs balcony
* made the hidey-hole at the back even more hidey

Why not repacked for a smaller file size?

My guess is that it's repacked, but just features a ton of packed custom content. If that's the case, there's little Muddy can do about it.
