I tried to pack my map.. It didnt end well

Well, at least i tried. How do i fix this?
I first used packrat and then VIDE

I added every custom content i used

Try using Compliepal, it's a great tool for compiling and packing your map!

How does the packing option work in compilepal?
I dont see any place where it says packing etc

Edit: Picture speaks more than a few words.

When you select "pack" compilepal automaticly packs everything you used into the map file.

Ah nice, i'll try it now. It took 5 hours last time i compiled it. So this'll take a while

If your compile is taking more than 30 minutes or so you might want to look into optimizing your compile time.

The best and most simple way to do this is to func_detail complex brush structures that are not criticaly blocking visibility.

Or you might just have a super bad cpu, but I doubt thats the problem.

There's almost nothing to optimize, thats the problem
I am remaking a map, "remaking" is maybe not a good word for this. Fixing spawn camping, clipping adding new pictures etc
so i have no idea why it takes 5 hours, without all this it takes 3min
