clip brushes - what's the difference

In Hammer, we have different clip textures available - what's the difference between them?

I see in a could of Valve map they've used clip where I've used player clip just wondering the differences and wanted some more info.

Thanks Youme - from your experience, would it be better to use cip or no clip in pl_maps?

What about the entity around the bomb train? I notice people getting stuck or geting pushed into world models in some spots. 45 degree slopes, tight corners, etc.

side note:

blockbullets works for blocking players and bullets (including rockets and projectiles)

I would guess that noclip would work fine for what you're doing by the bomb cart.

Solid to all objects. Is not rendered. Bug in HL2:deathmatch where it only acts as a player clip (solid only to players). Does not block physically simulated projectiles. QUOTE]

LOL Youme I just realised from the valve site that it's a bug in HL2 and that you were not addressing your comments to me as in Bur there's an issue in HL2.....:lol:
