Site loading slowly + error

Today the site has been loading very slowly for me. I checked to see if it was just my connection and that's fine. Other sites load quickly for me, so I can assume it's just tf2maps.net having issues.

This then got confirmed when I tried to leave a reply on a thread and was presented with this error:

it's the backup process for the site. it zips a huge file and because the site is huge, it takes a long time and a lot of CPU. I've disabled backups for now and will consider an additional options that are less intrusive.

Sorry about that.

TF2M has been having certain technical problems lately, yeah
EDIT oh so drp confirmed it will end someday, cool

OK thanks for that. Also I've just noticed that I accidentally created 3 threads, probably due to it appearing to time-out my end.
