Just a fun event to earn some bragging rights :) Teams will be chosen at random, as will the maps. If you're interested, this is the place to sign up. Keeping in mind that times are subject to change, atm we'll be doing this next Saturday at noon, same as when our testing usually happens. You've got 1 week to put your name in. The Steam group auto adjusts to your timezone, so be sure to check it.

/me enters the tourny :D
/bring it on

Is next Saturday the 1st, or the 8th? (I get into this argument a lot, heh).

But I'll probably be in, no matter what.

"Next" refers to the day following the current one. "This" means the day that falls w/in our current week. So next Saturday is in fact on November 8. This Saturday obviously can't be our most recent weekend, therefore it is the one 5 days from now. Yeah, English is hell.

Alright, I'm in for sure then. Have a midterm "this" weekend, and I just wanted to be sure.

On a side note, the confusion seems to depend on the proximity of the current day to the previous occurrence of the day in question. So if it was Sunday, someone might interpret "this" and "next" to mean the same thing. There is also the issue of how you define a week, ie is it Sunday to Saturday, Monday to Sunday, and so on.
