Custom Textures wont show up for others

So I placed a few custom textures in my map and was thinking that the textures would appear for everybody else too because, well, its in the map. Ofcourse I was being stupid and I've been looking for a solution.

Pakrat seems to be something I should be going for but I've been told that it will corrupt stuff and VIDE doesnt work with TF2? Im a bit confused about that and I really need help, its for a friend of mine and somewhat a birthday present

You didn't packed your custom textures. VIDE is packing tool and it's working with TF2 and here's a great guide how to use it: https://tf2maps.net/threads/vide-a-how-to.21661/

Oh and pakrat is old and out dated. I also changed recently.

Better yet, use CompilePal: https://tf2maps.net/threads/compiling-and-packaging-with-compilepal.29679/

Automatically packs your map like VIDE except CompilePal doesn't give a single damn about where you put your custom content. It just finds it, even if it's both in tf/ and tf/custom, unlike VIDE.
