It's no different from the ground control editor. Which is about 8 years old.
Yes it looks pretty with today's technology/graphics but i fail to see how it's something really that new.
I would be amused with this for a small while, just like i was with GC2, making realistic environments. But check out all the other FC2 maps; it's as bad as the TF2 orange maps. It's just a bunch of huge props slammed into a square of terrain, repeated over and over.
The only thing i would like to see is how quicker it is at making environments than GC2 was. Because that took fookin ages. But then the maps were about 10 times the size.
I guess i'd like to get my mits on it, but i'll always prefer the freedom to make really unique maps as i do with Hammer.
