Question in regards to "layout" entries: will detailing be a factor at all in these entries, or are blocky dev blocks the aim of the game here?

In case someone actually wants to watch my stream: I set everything up correctly, but my internet connection reached a new level of fucky this evening. I might still stream, but i will look like shit and i will probably turn off audio to at least get the actual mapping across the interwebs. Sorry.

Hey @LeSwordfish. Because of my computer having overheat issues, I have to reschedule. Can I have my submission pushed to next weekend? Same day, same time? Just to be safe. I don't know how long it will take to be fixed. I know that I can't edit it after this time so it's OK if I gotta truck through with it!

Is it possible I can have my mapping time moved 24hrs ahead? I have to shop for school supplies on that day, and forgot that I needed to when I signed up.

The submission thread is here! For a submission you will need a download and a screenshot, though you will not need a thread on tf2m.

As a reminder, if you require a grace period, contact me ASAP. The point of this is a speedmapping event, so I will only be handing out grace period for gamebreaking technical issues - forget your control point? You can have one. Forget clipping? Guess your map has a whole unexpected verticality, hope it plays well.

I'll be asleep for the first few hours - if you need any help or testing, get in touch with a staff member who is around - your best bets are @Crash and @Freyja.

I would guess you can work on your map after the judging has been done and the results have been released. In the OP it says they plan on having the judging finished by September 19th, but that's also just an estimate and dont want to create promises that can't get held.

Rules: Create, within the rules of the contest, a 3-stage PL map. I will not give out the price if your map is literally the 3 stage PL prefab. If i can see that there was some thought and work put into it, i'll honor that. Prices will be given out in order of placement in the main contest.

First place: Brush Pusher's Delight. A Strange Specialized Killstreak Citizen Pain (Jimijam) Minigun, Factory new
Second place: A Specialized Killstreak Conscientious Objector with a TF2M logo on it.

I'll add custom descriptions to show for which map you received them.

PS: If staff wants to take the items before the contest to make sure that i'm not bailing out, add me on Steam. I will give you two Description tags in that case so you can add them afterwards.

Dangit, I thought you would enter the day it begun, instead of earlier. Now i don't have time to enter unless i, somehow, can enter for the 28th. But hey, at least the winners are just getting a game or 2.

i hope the sign up sheet worked, because it didn't occur to me we had to sign up before "the weekend". So now i can make, the most stressful map ever!
