my name is alex (but I prefer shadow). I have been gaming for quite some time but only very recently decided I would like to learn to create maps for my favorite game, tf2.
I have had a quick look around and it is clear I have lots to learn, and I look forward to learning with some of the best. I am currently working on my first map, a payload set in an icy world inspired by echo base (star wars). It is coming along, but it is mostly a learning experience, I dont think it will be used.
I play TF2 as oftern as I can, you will almost always see me playing demo or medic but I sometimes delve into engi or sniper when it is needed. I love the arena style of play and am quite sad to see that it is not as popular as it was in the first few weeks. Normal maps wise... I like goldrush, but wont say no to some steel or turbine.
Well, a warm hello to all you guys out there. Cya around
