Do you mean having seams between the displacements, dollar?

If you do, (and you should do this anyways) you should click on every face on the displacements you cant see while in displacement editing mode, then hit destroy. It will make all these non visible faces not be there, and will make all the seams between the displacements go away.

Those are the seams. Do as i said and they will go away - what they are is that those extra faces in the displacements are creating shadows where they exist, so deleting them makes them not cast the shadow.

For the sew button to work, the sides of the displacements must be equal lengths, use the clipping tool - keeping both sides of the clip - (though that might mess it up*) to make all the edges that touch eachother equal lengths, then sew.

*if that does screw with the displacements, you may have to destroy the displacements completely, then clip them and then remake them.

You can only sew displacements if the brushes you made them out of lined up to begin with. That means the corners have to be touching.

If you're still confused about the sewing stuff, check the Valve Wiki. Press here and go to the "Sewing Displacements" part. It took me a while to understand it,because I was a derp. :D

Also,if it's your first first map,try to not detail TOO much. Only the absolute necessary (displacements,of course). It's horrible to just have to change a layout when you detailed it so much.

Compile with full VVIS. Fast VVIS makes displacements have shadows around them like that for god knows why.

I think the textures are rotated in different directions. On the texture application window, there is a rotation box where you can set rotations to textures. To make them all aligned, select them all (By Alt + Left clicking on all of them individually), and then set the rotation to 0. Then Hit apply.

Looking at the textures, they're seems to be a black spot. What is that?

Also you can sew. To keep it simple, if you have 2 displacements that share the same edge, or share the same length / width when together, you can then sew them. Go to the texture window, and hit the displacement tab. Then, Alt - left click the faces you want to sew and hit "sew".
