I figure the 1.1 pack will have a readme too haha. With links to all the relevant bits. Also working on an optimization pass to get the file size down in general.

Can I contribute some custom soundscapes to the project? So mappers can add good feeling of war to their maps. Here is an example

If so, I can start working on it right now.

I almost want a thread where everyone who's specifically making maps for Frontline can post map updates, even hammer screenshots.

There's only a load of weapons/items in the workshop currently, and I want to get a scope of just exactly how many people are working on Frontline maps.

Filling it is the hard part.
If appreciated I (or anyone else of the Frontline time) can post about it on the steam-group, we're at almost 3000 members right now and people are constantly asking for " the server IP " , I'm sure it'll fill in no time

Hey all, a friend of mine and I worked together and made some new sounds for the payload cart, to be used with the Frontline! tank payload.

You can download them here.

Now for some instructions on getting them to work properly:

Getting the loop sound to work in-game requires some trickery due to how the payload cart sounds work in TF2.

1. Set your payload cart's func_tracktrain Move Sound, Start Sound, and Stop Sound to the relevant wav files.

2. Also set the Min & Max pitch to 100 just so the pitch doesn't change weirdly

Now you would think this would be enough, but to actually get the looping idle sound to work we need to do a bit of voodoo magic with the logic.

4. Create a logic_relay, and give it an OnTrigger output, set its target to your func_tracktrain and set its input to StartForward.

Add an additional OnTrigger output, give it the same target and set its input to Stop. Give it a delay of 0.01

6. Add an OnMultiNewRound output to any logic_auto (preferably one associated with your payload cart for cleanliness) and target the relay you just made. Trigger it.

Enjoy ur cool new sounds bruh

EDIT: And here's a video of the sounds in action on PL Driller.

Can you make like "Submit your Frontline maps to be played on the server" post?
