Uhh, glad for you, but what had to be proved there? I mean, its actually possible, but unhealthy even if we don't take sitting in front of monitor all the time into account.

Well after START 72hr jem I'll have to download my animations on the site? or you can throw a link to the video from youtube?
and where I need to fix my SteamID, or it is already designated as I went through Steam?

I wanted to do something for the jam but can't work on anything until after next week.
Shame, maybe I can do something for the next jam.

Dug up Geit's old (re)post about how to use the clock overlay, should be all valid still?

I'm using the newest OBS Studio version. Is there any differences for installation?

How many hours / minutes until Jam starts? (timezones makes me unsure when it is)

As of this post, slightly less than five hours.

Well after START 72hr jem I'll have to download my animations on the site? or you can throw a link to the video from youtube?
and where I need to fix my SteamID, or it is already designated as I went through Steam?

Both of these questions are answered in the "How To Enter" post linked from the first page.

Yo, LeSwordfish, I got a question:

As before I'll be making models and if I'm gonna upload them to the site this time, what format would you want: the original file (I use Blender btw), or something else? Because the fact is that I don't actually know (yet) how to make my models compatible for the Source engine, or indeed a very extensive grasp of texturing (I'm still learning it, currently I use materials to show off what colours I intend it to have.)

Also, and I hope this isn't considered sedition, what do you want the files for? I assume to have a better look at them than with rendered pictures.

Here's how to get Blender models to work with Source: http://tf2maps.net/threads/tutorial-blender-and-the-source-engine.28408

If you want us to use the models in-game, we need files Source can understand. The link above provides you with all the steps needed to get to that point.

Great, thanks for that, but would it be alright if I only gave you the .blend files? That way I can spend more time on modelling and work on making them compatible with TF2 in my own time.

You can post them as "other resources" (as described in the How to enter post in the OP of this thread), then not include a download. We can't really do anything with Blender's files, so you can best keep them yourself, also to avoid others running away with your model and then claiming it as their own.

I guess you could just add some pictures to the download page to show the models. :)

Right, well if I don't put in a download, I don't count as entering right? In that case I'll have to make them Source compatible.

That seems like a good idea, is that alright?

You don't specifically have to make something that we can use after the 72hr jam has ended. As long as you can show that your work is yours (with screenshots as Joshenkstone said) you've entered.

Perfect, problem solved. Last time I just did a post with links to screenshots, so I'll do that again except it'll be done via 'other resources'. Thanks.
