Detail wise - Mirrored or Rotational?

Would a town look aesthetically nice with Mirrored or Rotational geometry?

I'm working (well planning) on a 5CP map which is located in a Finnish town during the Finnish Winter War. I can easily work up with a layout for both, but detail wise I really don't know.

With Mirrored I can think of beautiful asymmetrical detailing, but with Rotational I can't think of anything. So I'd also like to discuss on the topic.

5cp works much much better as a gamemode Rotationally symmetrical, I'm not sure why you wouldnt be able to think of asymmetrical detailing based on that tho

Im pretty sure 5cp maps need to be (well, are perfered to be) rotational, as then the weapon models
are all fine and you can peak in the same places and stuff.

Edit: Just ninja'd, but yeah rotational.

its also to do with projectile weapon firing angles and where the camera is relative to the playermodel when peeking, but also generally how the midfight works

Was thinking as in European town looking weird by being rotational thus thinking about mirrored.

I think I'd find mirror symmetry would stand out as more obvious and therefore weirder

Detail wise - doesn't matter. Almost at all.
Note that most props need a mirrored version in some cases. You might find some here but I'm unsure.

I suppose it depends on the location. If you have it on waterfront, rotational stands out. If you have it inland mirrored stands out.
