Anyone still play Age Of Conan? What about WAR?

I seem to recall there being a big fuss about Conan not long ago. I'm curious to know if anyone still plays. Has it survived the first few months intact? I can proudly say that I've been clean of my WoW addiction for the better part of 3 years :) However, everything I have seen and read about Warhammer Online thus far has been nothing short of positive. Does anyone currently play and can give some feedback? Or perhaps a regular group to join up w/ in Conan? Atm I'm leaning heavily towards WAR, but not for certain yet. So what do you all think?

I never played Conan, but to me warhammer just is a other WoW, with a better PvP
I really like the pvp in it, if you want to go PvP warhammer is defenitly the choice

I still play Conan, and i love it. The PvP is great, though i´m only on a PvE, i learned to love the minigames. As for the playercount, its stable now if not even growing.
i just love the fighting system, never could get along with the passiveness of wow, dumped it after 1 day

What got me hooked into WoW (and I suspect is the same reason for a lot of people) is the story. When I first got my hands on WCII, I became engrossed w/ the universe that Blizzard had created. This was cemented in WCIII. Being able to go around the world in WoW and see these historic places and people was overwhelming. I would go to a new land and think 'I remember playing this level in the WCII Alliance campaign, I commanded a major battle here'. Whereas w/ Conan, my knowledge is limited to the books and crappy movies. Warhammer has a similarly rich history, though I'm not as familiar with it. Though I won't have time to play until after mid-terms anyways :( Guess it's just something to think about for now.

I know the books, they were great pulp literature, and the movies, which didnt blow me away... but i loved the setting, the "reality" of that universe and the history of hyboria.
i never felt compasionate for elves and dwarfs :)

Conan: I only played this @ a friend, but he stopped playing it after a month.
WOW: To much grinding imo and takes to much time.
WAR: nice mix of pvp and pve, but I also play the tabletop game :p
Tabula Rasa: DEAD, not addictive enough and its a wannabe shooter (no shooting just order what to shoot :S) (i participated in the closed beta)
GW: Best PvP (balanced) of these games imo, skill>time , but isn't a real mmorg. no montly fee (GW2 will be a real mmorpg without monthly fee :) )

I'm interested in WAR, but...it has a monthly fee, doesn't it? That kinda ruins it for me.

Conan, though, is not interesting at all. Humans are boring...I'd much rather be something green with giant teeth. :D

I played Conan the first month but got bored out of it, though it is pretty updated now I think cause it has beaten WoW's record on players the first year or something.
And apparently the expansion for AoC is coming next year..

Played in the WAR beta, bought the game, faced the prospect of rebuilding all my characters from scratch, played a few times, then got bored of it. Haven't even gotten any characters above level 6 yet.

Similar thing happened with WoW, I dunno what's with me and MMORPGs.

i played AoC till lvl 80.. 3 times then quit as to lack of any end game, broken promises and awful awful awful dev community.

I've played WAR through beta from july to sept release, and up till about the beginning of Oct and currently its "on hold" due to work.

IMO its by far the best mmo out, ever made. Combat, pve, pvp, sieges, lore, etc etc.

mmorpgs are like specific kinds of cakes, you love cake, but if get to choose, you pick oyu favorite
me personally, i am addicted to a more skill-based pvp, only dependent on the gear you are weariing in a minimal kind of way
aoc is more about tactincs and the right usage of your skills than any other mmorpg out there

maybe humans seem boring, but basically, when you play a caster in wow, you are only a model skin away from playing a caster in AoC

I got WAR but I didnt resub after the initial free month. At least not yet, there are too many wild balance issues to make it fun imho. Also they have nerfed the XP hastily before launch so now you have to grind mobs for hours and hours to level at the late levels. Grinding mobs should not need to be done in this day and age. Not my idea of fun. I am going to look at it later down the line.

A real disappointment considering I have been interested in the game for like 2 years.

Real human hair is in limited supply, so lace wigs are much more expensive; typically they several hundred dollars. full lace wigs look and feel very natural. However, it is important to know that the quality of your cosplay wig depends on the origin of the hair used. The cheapest full lace wigs comes from Asian countries, but their texture is different from the hair of European women. The best lace human hair wig is made from European hair but, unfortunately, they cost a small fortune.

Spam, always surprizingly trivia!

Back on topic....

I've played my good share of Guild Wars and I must say that it's great. It really depends on the people you play with though, since playing by yourself or "soloing" even the middle parts of the game can be a challenge. It's also a lot more cerebral than other games, as in, you really have to think about what skills to use in a given mission since basically all of your skills will be roughly at the same level of effectviness.

The PvP is great as far as I hear, very balanced and competitive.

Correction: The PvP was very great. It died ~1 year ago.

I played played at a pretty high level, I even played with Irrestible Blokes once :). And i played once against War Machine (PC Gamer said it's the worlds best gaming team) and even won :)

But it's all dead :(
