valve has said 'a few weeks' a month ago. but you know them and their backwards calendars. few weeks means few months. we can probably expect it in december? early January? or maybe even next week. you just cant be sure when it comes to valve and release dates/times.
The only reason you need to SDK right now is to render cubemaps and hopefully for the extra content that they SHOULD include in it for all the mappers out there. I don't know how many times I've gone through all of the Spytech models thinking "Man... I would kill for a James Bond themed car" or "Hot shit, I would murder for a kitchen sink".
