I think the textures feel very flat, and could use more wear and tear to fit tf2. Not a bad model otherwise, good work!

That looks pretty nice, I wonder what you will use it for? I seriously need to learn how to model though or else I keep producing shit like this.

As someone who once saw a Vampire IRL, I must say you done your job really well. It's a nice and easily recognisable model, and it looks quite close to it's real life representitive.
But still I wouldn't put it next to the player in a map. The model just isn't detailed enough, and I believe it is already quite a heavypoly model. That's a problem, because the aircraft itself is very round, and your model just isn't as round as it's real life counterpart. I doubt you have anything to do about it model-wise, because reserving computer resources is more important, but adjusting some texturework might help.
I'd suggest to use some bumpmaps or additional texture-detail in order to make it more realistic, especialy around the windows and the air intake which look really flat IMO.

here's a picture of the Vampire I was talking about (captured Lebanese aircraft in Hatzerim Aircraft museum), pay attention to the air intake. It has metal plates to improve airflow and reduce turbulence (or something like that, I believe), those can add a nice touch.
Also, the aircraft isn't made of one metal plate, it's made of multiple ones. Adding the metal seems can also be nice and add some detail.
If you want to, I'd be glad to make some new textures for the Vampire. Send me the files if interested.

Is it really that high poly already? It looks like something from a PS2 game to me.

Probably not, this was just something I made for practice when I was first learning to model. But I'm sure there are plenty of much better plane models in the frontline pack.

Yes, but I'm looking for TF2-styled Jet Fighters, which are a bit of a rarity. Know any good models of those?
