How Do You Add Bots To Just Stand There?

In the map I am currently working on, I need a couple bots of different classes to just stand in one location, and fire one of their weapons at random times. While they have the "Buddha" command and are constantly resupplied on ammo.

How can I accomplish this? This site is kinda my last effort. I've been asking around a while about this, but nobody has responded.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

For the bots standing in one place and doing the actions you want them to, this should help: https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Bots#Puppet_bots

Just make a row of info_player_teamspawn entities, and they will spawn in those locations.

For the buddha effect, I would maybe see if typing "buddha all" into the console will affect the bots. I'm not too sure, but it might.

And for the bots to be constantly resupplied with health and ammo, you can just surround the entire map with a func_regenerate brush.

Many thanks, my friend! Where the Steam community and the Gamebanana community has lacked, this community really came through for me.

Please excuse my ignorance, im fairly new to mapping and didnt know you could use the basic console commands in hammer.

After i created a new entity with the Entity Tool, I changed it to "info_player_teamspawn" and I was expecting more options to appear, but there arent. Just things like "team number", "angles", "spawnmode", ect. Where do I decide the class, what weapon they are holding or even where do I imput the commands for the puppet bots. Thank you.

Also, you mentioned a func_regenerate brush, and im assuming its the same as when im playing a jump map and i constantly hear the resuply locker sound. Is there a way to mute this sound?

Oh I meant the console in game, like typing "buddha all" once you spawned all the bots in.

First off, if you are seeing "team number", I would suggest clicking the "Smart Edit" button.

For the individual classes; if you don't have the ABS pack installed (which I'm guessing you don't, seeing as you are new), then you can click the "Flags" tab in the properties, and it should have I list of classes that you can check. I have the ABS pack, which kind of broke the list, so I can show it sadly, but you should be able to find it easily if you don't have it installed.

Sadly, I don't believe there is a way to disable the sound effect without doing a bunch of heavy work that probably wont be worth it.
