Map name: (provide the full filename, e.g. cp_example_a1)

Download: (TF2M or Dropbox downloads preferred)
Notes: (optional)

  • Your map must be fully playable.
    • This means working spawns, functional objectives, packed custom content, proper lighting (not fullbright), no leaks etc.
  • Filename must be versioned.
    • e.g. 'cp_example_a1', not simply 'cp_example'
  • Filename must be entirely in lowercase.
    • 'cp_example_a1', not 'CP_Example_A1' - capital letters break Linux servers.
  • Please repack your map before uploading.
    • I don't want to download a bunch of 50mb maps and neither does anybody else.

All gamemodes are accepted, with the exception of Mannpower (as those maps require special server commands I do not have the necessary powers to enter) and non-serious gamemodes such as surf, trade, mge etc.

Other notes:
  • CP, PL and TC maps will be played for 30 minutes, Arena for 15 minutes, and every other gamemode will get 20 minutes. (I can extend this if necessary)
  • At the end of each map I will also be running a two-minute 'feedback round', during which people are invited to switch to Spectator mode to fly around and leave feedback (or continue playing if they so choose).
  • Submissions will close an hour before the gameday is due to start.
  • Maps are generally run in the order they are submitted, but if you'd like your map to be played at a certain time please let me know and that can be arranged. Also let me know if there's anything specific you'd like feedback on, e.g. spawn times, scale, detailing etc.
  • It is not required for you to attend the gameday if you submit a map.

Download's still broken. It's giving me this error:

I've never seen this error before, but I suspect it's due to your map being 133.8mb. If you haven't already, look into repacking your map to save space.

by the way im working on another map its cp_high _a1 its a temp name atm but at the moment because it needs some cover i need to add them so I will upload the map and once ive added them i will get the map out and ready for the next EU Gameday or i might finish it faster then expected

Notes: I literally just fixed all the errors of my map just so it could be tested now. Hope its not cancerous or anything. . . :)
These maps have leaks in them - in sandylane I was even able to walk through the leak without even jumping. Next time you compile your map, give the compile log a once-over and look for "*** leaked ***" errors. (Read more here)

These maps have no lighting. Recompile your maps with basic lighting please. (pl_detextured also has a leak; see above - also @BlitzVS can you please write the version number of your map as well, like I specified in the first post)

Next time you submit maps to a gameday, I urge you to please please please read the first post and make sure your map abides by the rules. It'll save time both for you and for me.

It is due to the file size, and I've been trying to repack the map. Right now I'm working on it and I hope to have it ready for the gameday ;)

I'm sorry what ? I've repacked my map with VIDE and it works :/

Edit : Oh well, I found the problem even bigger than a problem... the next version will remove these custom stuffs.
