Good layouts can take some time to develop and think of. Don't be afraid to spend a long hard time drawing ideas out on paper, or just randomly building ideas in hammer. It's good practice.

This map is gonna have Well ambient, and Well don't have layouts (exterior)...

The ambient shouldn't make the map, the map should make the ambient. I find the best way for me is to go into a map is to go into it theme-less and work the theme/ambient to the geometry I make. But I understand why one would want to make a map to a certain theme, but don't let a theme hold back gameplay ideas.

Ixem has become pretty fun for a map that started as a box with 2 control points- don't feel discouraged, Take pride in that.

However, others are correct about how they will rtv the map for being so basic and give little feedback. You should still work on it a bit more (do what Nick said) before testing it.

On top of that, people really don't like playing medieval. I made my map pd_breezy with 4 alphas, each of which multiple feedbacks were left with only distaste for the game mode before even playing it. Expect similar treatment, especially with a layout this basic.

Anyways, good luck- I think you have potential.

*EDIT* I'm not asking because I dislike the gamemode, but because medieval maps most of all need height variation. I'm sure you have played degroot keep, think of how crazy the displacements outside the castle are for creating height - there is literally not a single place that you cannot get a jump stab on someone (from a spy main perspective). Then look at the massive height difference between the floor of the castle and the walkways around the top, it's a pretty dumb height difference - yet it works perfectly, landing on top of someone to the decapitate them feels epic! In short, look at the valve maps for the appropriate gamemode.

its medieval gamemode but you can use all your weapons

Ooooooooooooh. So really it is just a "cap a then b, then cap c" mode, like gravelpit?
Its not exactly like gravelpit or junction, on that maps you can cap A + B and you cant loses them, and but in this gamemode (degroot) you must capture A +B to open the gate to the control c and if you dont cap the control in 60 seconds you must recap the control A + B again.

Alright, fair enough. You should just change your description to say that it is not restricted to medieval weapons. Say "degroot style" instead of "medieval", maybe.

And since it isn't restricted, I really think sentry nesting is going to be an incredible issue since there is one choke point to get to C. It works in medieval because there aren't sentries and long ranges aren't as threatening, but without those restrictions this map would be VEEEEERY difficult to attack on. Just be ready to hear that feedback if you are imping this as it is.
