koth_spike - Tiny, compact KOTH map.

koth_spike is my first attempt at creating a serious TF2 map. Its tiny size and bow-tie design makes it (hopefully) fun for pubs with fewer players.
This is an alpha release -- no details, no cubemaps, little optimization!

You should still do cubemaps. White water and black and purple checkers on a reflective object is a bad thing. Plus some areas look a bit too dark. Leave the non-play areas dark and light up the play areas. You could stick to a day time skybox till beta.

Some of the flanks you have are nice, but it is just as you advertised- VERY small. A soldier or even a demoman could easily small the point and obliterate anybody on it. There are also no sight lines for sniper to take advantage of and the tight corridors like the pipes make maneuvering as scout difficult.

Also, your resupply doors don't open! UNPLAYABLE!! Use the start-up prefab here- http://tf2maps.net/downloads/fr0z3ns-map-start-up-prefab.667/

As a first attempt at something serious, It's alright.

I don't think that was did on purpose. Also note how thin the area around the cap is.

If this map was enlarged 2x it could be a fun map. Though small maps like cyberpunk have its charms.

I think this map is a bit underscaled or a box fitted with the layout.

This map was really intended for 2v2 or 3v3 (in fact, it's basically an ultiduo map), and the center being a choke was mostly an experimental choice. And yes, most of my maps have scaling issues.

You could try turning it arena, however then you need fair changes to the layout.
