I feel very stupid asking this, but I need help with setting up an impromptu group and map and stuff on feedback.tf2maps. I cant find any threads that really answer m question.

What I'm asking is:
Can I get a step by step guide on how to set up and execute an impromptu using feedback.tf2maps.

Thanks,
Pev

That's pretty much all there is to impromptu testing. An impromptu isn't specifically for one map, it's just a sudden unplanned test that takes a few maps in the chat bot's queue and runs them on the server. When people play your map, they'll use the feedback plugin to leave comments, and then you can read them on feedback.tf2maps.net.

Impromptu tests (or as we like to call them, imps) are organized entirely in the group chat of our Steam group. We have a bot that sits in chat and keeps a list of map names that people give it, so whenever we feel like testing, a host can step up and easily retrieve the list. If you join chat, we'll show you how to add your map.

You aren't required to be there when your map is played, but if you do want to attend, it's best to stay in chat and keep an eye out for people organizing one. They aren't ever scheduled in advance, hence their name.

The feedback site is just a place where the servers' feedback plugin dumps everyone's comments so you can read through them on your own time.

Your map will automatically go up on the feedback page if people leave feedback for it in the server. The chat bot hangs around in the steam group chat (most of the time) and you can add your map to it using the command:

Yes, and you can find the download link by right clicking the blue download button on your thread and then "copy link address"
