Why do you need it? You could just as easily just use brushwork to make your own...

completely forgot about that, but yea that might be the problem...

Very unlikely if you use dev textures....
i got the basics but when i try to make the box the walls don't rotate

1) Pretty much what Blitz said (show us the 3d view if you show anything, we can't project the 2d views in our heads), but:
2) that looks FAAAAAR too big (if you can see the edges of the grid, that's quite enough)
3) Select all and move everything down so that the origin (where the blue grid lines cross) is inside your box. That should spawn players there until you have info_player_teamspawns. You may be currently spawning inside a brush, which would either get you stuck or drop you through it.

Maybe you should just attach your vmf here. I can't think of any other reason why you have that issue.
