THE ROOF WAS FUN but insanely easy to camp. There was a point when I got up on the opposing roof and picked off half the enemy team as they were leaving their own building. A demoman got up on the roof with me and camped the elevator with sticky bombs and this would have been a pretty damaging little 2-man team up. It seems a little inspired by 2fort and there were some times where I didn't know where the hell I was going, like initially finding the intelligence. There are also a few very thin walkways/stairwells that were easy to fall off when trying to move fluidly. Other than that it's pretty well built and as far as I can tell, balanced.

The only issue I really had was with the size of the vents. They were pretty tight. A soldier was able to sit at one end and fire a rocket, which there was no way I could avoid. Also, making it so long and straight like that could make sgs a problem.

The idea of the vents is that they are small and tight. Its an alternative route after all. I have played Malice when someone built a sentry gun in the vent and it was really easy to destroy by strafe shooting it.

All maps are initially a little confusing aren't they? (Gravelpit took me a while to get the layout correct in my head). Im sure half the people who play 2fort still dont know where the intelligence is :p. I find with a good team that the roof camping is not really a problem. Last time my teams roof was camped I went sniper and went over to their roof and killed them all :). In the end, camping the enemies roof is fun but not productive, like building sentries outside the enemy base in 2fort.
