Finally got 90% through the 2nd/last stage on geyser (still some things to add and adjust, etc.) - thanks to everyone who popped in to watch me stream this weekend. Hey, doing mapping again with a more analytical approach this time. I'm creating a koth map set next to the sea with a coal shipping port idea. It will use some of the props from the Bulletcrops project to spice things up. I need a name though, and I see a bunch of nautical names are already taken. So give me your opinions? Hope this is cool in this thread.

Just so you know, the Ice texture has special properties that make the ground slippery, you probably don't want that.

I actualy think that the poster stands out too much. In tf2 many posters and signs still have a similar brightness level of the wall behind it to prevent it distracting too much. As this poster has a flat white background it can definitely take attention. The poster itself is good, but i would try to make it stand out a bit less. Maybe using some sort of radial gradient to get the edges darker?

A good poster is harder to make than most realize, its just like making hamburgers. Some people can make realy good ones at home but cant make alot of them. Some mass produce them at average quality, and then there are cases of people who can take more time on their hamburgers, yet those are often the delicious ones.
People have a daily job making hamburgers. Some have a daily job making posters.

(and for those who ask why i started talking about hamburgers... maybe i should stop listening to mgs5 tapes)

Вообще-то было бы правильней "Бэдлендс", ну или если вообще на русском, то "Пустоши".

In fact, it would be more right "Бэдлендс", well, or if at all in russian "Пустоши".

Don't trust wiki! There is no Бедленд word in russian. So, how Flower_Shop_Guy said, "Постошь" is better. In meaning Desolace and etc.
But there is question what exactly you want with this. =)
(And next time, when you want use foreign language, better ask someone about it. Because i saw many works (Even Valve's >....<) with illogical translate or just with mestakes in words.)
