Can't See Entity Origin Indicators

Background and info:
For the first time ever I have a leak in my map. When I load the pointfile it states that something outside my map is causing the error. I assume that the origin of some entity is in those co-ordinates, and after I check every entity in my map I found the one that appears to be the problem. Everything is well and fine, until I realise: Where is the origin "ball" ? I remember that a few months ago, most my entities used to have blue balls in the 3d view, and little round shapes in the xyz views? I have no idea where these things are. I can't see them. I have tried making numerous new entities and I can't see the "origin" balls. I have clicked on every entity in my map and I can't see any origin balls. Unless I manually type in the new origin, I don't appear to be able to fix this issue. However I would very much like to know where the origin of my entities are in the future.

Issue:
The 3D view doesn't display the blue "balls" that represent the entity origin.
The 2D views don't display the tiny circle that represents the entity origin.

Questions:
Is it possible to turn the visibility of these on/off? Maybe I turned som random setting off by accident?
I upgraded to Windows 10 recently. I suppose this doesn't have anything to do with it. (???)
If these things have nothing to do with it, what is and is there any solution?

I would be grateful for any answer.

Cheers

The entity origin spheres (as well as things like light_spot cones and fade distance spheres) are known as "helpers" and can be toggled with this button :helpers:.
