Link to the Steam page: http://store.steampowered.com/app/323910/ (warning: is 1.9GB in size).

So yeah, answers in the poll! I'm quite curious. I'd be even more happy if you could post a screenshot of the results, too!

I'll have to answer the sad day option. I don't really care about VR yet as it's still first gen, and it's generally a good idea to wait for later generations, as they're usually kicking gen 1's butt, even if it releases just a year later. So I'll wait.

Here's a pic:

I do want to note though, that altough it wasn't at 90 fps, it didn't feel choppy either. Looked like 40-50 fps to me.

edit heh, this should've been into the Games Talk section. Mods, would you be so kind as to move this thread to there? edit thank you

Sorry for the offtop, but there really, REALLY cool stuff was found in this benchmark for VR.

Also, if you want to play this VR-level in game engine, go to the "steamapps\common\SteamVRPerformanceTest\bin\win64" and run vr.exe with these parameters "vr.exe -noassert -retail -vrperftest -autofidelity +map vr_aperture_main -novr -fullscreen -height XXXX -width XXXX", where "XXXX" - your monitor resolution.

Here's how it looks:

Not to rain on parades or anything, but that is the map for the Aperture Science demo that they benchmark you with in the program. Nothing HL3 or P3 or whatnot.
I edit my post, so, now can get it what I actually mean.

EDIT:
I actually already know about result, but anyway - sadface.jpg

You have the green arrow on top in the middle of the green "Ready" zone. Bakscratch is maxed out.

As a result, Bakscratch wins.

I do want to know how many cores at what speed affect compile times though.

Mass experiment incoming or not? Idk.

Iirc, it's less about cores, more about processor speed.

No surprises here, my new PC build is spectacular (also really it was quite expensive)

The Aperture Robot Repair demo is just spectacular. The amount of detail in everything is just mindblowing, it really is. I can not wait for whatever VR games Valve has planned.
