koth_crates - koth map, many crates, first map, have fun I guess?

Made for the 72h jam but not finished in time.
Welp, here's a2 built on the feedback from a1
Please don't noclip out the map it's a huge mess I hate it
It's my first map too so feedback appreciated and don't be too harsh I guess? The door at the bottom of the spawns isn't supposed to open fully either so please no more comments about that lol

First off I can Guaranty Some ones already used the name "crates" so you may want to change the name. Plus, Crates doesn't sound too exciting does it. Another quick thing would be that putting koth_ in the thread title is unnecessary, especially with the prefix.

Any possible name ideas? The name is pretty much a placeholder right now.

Well, first off, there are a lot of problems with your map, but I won't go into those right now.

Mainly, when running around you map I noticed that you've placed a large quantity of prop statics around the level. This isn't bad but only when you do it right. Right now, in you're map, it is not done well. It is what most players refer to as prop spam. prop spamming is when you simply place lots of props all over the level in no apparent order or that add to the atmosphere or aesthetic. Try using just level geometry to create interesting play areas and height difference. I think you have this already but you will need to remove most of the props in your level unless they really fit. I'd also suggest trying to think of a cool, interesting theme. Crates aren't that captivating. If you want to stick with a shipping outpost maybe you could go with either an industrial or maritime theme, or maybe a mix of both. If you decide to use any maritime theme the custom recourse pack can be found here.

Wow, thanks for such an in-depth response! I really like the name depository. At school I've done some sketches of what I could do with the skybox and surrounding area to make it feel more in-line with the lore of what both teams are trying to do. I'll try and make some changes based on your feedback, thanks!
Could you list some of those "other problems" I could feasibly knock out in a4?
