I took a run around your maps, so here are some things i suggest:
First of all, your map was 100% pitch black except for the skybox. I'm not sure why exactly, maybe you don't have any light entities? But I turned on fullbright to take the following pictures.
Use the 3D view in hammer to make sure your brushes meet up. See in this picture, your building is floating:
Also, the doors in this building sound like they're opening but they don't:
For that, I recommend downloading
ABS resource pack which includes pre-made doors for you to use, as well as libraries of props, and copy-and-paste-able logic for every game mode. Alternately, the
valve developer wiki has articles on almost every feature of TF2 maps and is a great resource if you want to fully understand how everything works.
The best way to learn to make TF2 maps is to run around existing ones and observe how they're built, or check out the
decompiled official maps here. You can then load them into hammer and poke around as you wish.
EDIT: Re: file naming -- Make sure when you name your maps, you name the .vmf file before you compile. Just renaming the .bsp will not work. Also don't use capital letters or spaces in the filename, because they can cause problems on Linux.
