I'm coming back from the dead, slightly. I still have some decaying rot on me but there's a chance I'll brush it off and have a go at this mapping thing again. I had a project I really admired but the brushcrane-to-model complication squeezed a great amount of my motivational juices right outta' me. I'm taking a drastically different approach to how I live a half undead life however. I'm kicking distractions right out of the door and keeping my sights on the things that kept me alive in the past. I'm planning on finishing at least one map before i'm nothing but dead decaying rot again. Here are some teasers of my project:

It will take time and I'm sure the project won't be ready soon. However, I've really had a niche to finish this map because I've had a blast making it when I last was working on it. Some small details about the map are that its basically set on a large offshore oil rig. For balancing and gameplay, I'm thinking about making the map a melee only map because some classes can be extraordinarily overpowered on this map (pyro's, engineers, etc.). That's basically everything I wanted to put out there. Thank's for reading!

TL;DR: Dead, now not so dead. Anticipating the day my map is done and ready.

Haha, I'll have to check but I'm pretty positive that I used a healthy amount of func_detail when I last worked on the map. ^_^
