I think that it's just much more difficult for the average player to remember.

Also it's Japanese so people have no clue how it's pronounced.
All according to keikaku.

But yeah, it's a nice map and the name doesn't really do it justice.

Something I never got around to suggesting: Personally, I've never cared much for the Upward theme. I don't like the short fog distance, or the fact that it feels kinda gray (I thought this was due to color correction, but apparently Upward doesn't have any, so maybe it's just the fact that the fog starts so close or there's no color to the sunlight or both), or the super simplistic skybox texture. But what I only recently realized is that all of these things are there to accommodate the water: It needs a short fog distance so the water doesn't have to go on forever and ever, and it needs a basic skybox texture so that it matches the fog all the way around.

This map, however, needs none of those things. With that in mind, it's time to make a recommendation I forgot to make ages ago: What about replacing the skybox with Owly-Oop's dawn? It's ideal for this map because it's a straight-shot A/D map where the points are out in the open. I plugged it into the public alpha to test; it's even facing the right direction:

Isn't that beautiful? With the sun rising on the control points like that? And here's how it looks from the other side:

If you decide to use it, you could even call the map cp_sunrise or cp_dawn or something like that.

Well, nobody says Suijin correctly, but that doesn't stop it from being a memorable name.
Everyone just says Swee-Gin.

This map is not set in Japan though.

I could name a map Babadapadap and it would sure be unique but it wouldn't make sense.
According to this site and this site 'Keikoku' can mean 'valley', 'ravine' or 'canyon'. And this map certainly does look rather canyon-y, if you ask me. Even if it isn't set in Japan.

Keikaku is plan, Keikoku is valley. It was a pun on the "Prep up men!" 72h theme the map was made for. I've had lots of people say the name was shit. I think the map wiull do better with a generic tf2 name even if I don't like it.
