Tpc's Speedy Base maker - Only to be used for a short time so you can get the map finished

Welcome to My new project TPC's Speedy base maker what this does is it allows you to have aesthetics for the period when game play is more important or to give you a Idea on what you want to make in your map while I don't recommend to just use SBM to make your map's bases and buildings I cant stop you... I don't recommend it because this is a filler to kinda give the map a sort of nice furnished feel to it even if your just working on game play and when you are working on aesthetics use what you like but still decorate with your own creations so every map is unique not to say you can't have it

please if you have any suggestions on buildings please tell me or make it (if you make it send me a email to deadlysniper4@gmail.com with the file so I can upload it and or add it to the roster of buildings

requires all 3 tf2maps.net construction packs

please read the tool tip on the building if it has one it might save you time figuring out what it does

I just took a look at this, and honestly it's hardly a prefab worth using. Here's why:

This "scaffolding" you have is made of extremely simple brushwork that anyone could replicate in less than a minute, it's built out of 1u-thick brushes which are also off-grid, and the instructions you left in the training annotation are very poorly written (and hard to read). Even if your brushwork was better, it's not really a good idea to encourage copy/pasting of modular pieces like this, because new mappers looking for easy shortcuts may end up with blocky map designs made of cookie-cutter brushwork that's not their own. Brushwork prefabs should be limited to things that are complex and difficult to make, or common objects such as window frames and stairs in a variety of styles.

Also, if you want to use annotations in a vmf, try an info_null with your text written in the comments box. That way, your text isn't confined to a single line in a text field and it's much easier to read.

I know m8 Its just some shit I put together to place hold the place hold in retrospect should have completed more XP also thanks that will make it easier to read
I'm having this problem where one the grid is misaligned so it's harder to make it aligned and two I cant change it to not line up with the grid so if you have any answers on that that would be helpful
I'm currently in the process of making a barn
Also it is WIP

If it's WIP you're wasting your time posting an unfinished prefab. It's no use as a prefab since the pre-fabrication hasn't even been finished.

I would highly suggest reading the Hammer documentation on the Valve Developer Community wiki to get a better understanding of how the editor works.

It can be found here: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Category:Hammer
