Other Gameday Rules:
  1. I will prioritize maps that have not been played in whichever gameday was last.
  2. If there's something specific you want feedback on in your map, write a line below the rest of your submission. (Example: Do the respawn times feel fair?)
  3. If your map has issues which will keep the test from running correctly (i.e.: broken logic, broken lighting, egregious missing textures/models, map leaks, fast vvis, etc.) then I will inform you as such and your map will not be played in the gameday. You are welcome to submit fixes after I inform you of issues, and you are welcome to submit to future gamedays as long as the issues have been fixed.
  4. I will be placing maps in the list in the order of FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. Maps may not be played in the order they are posted (i.e., if 3 cp maps and 2 pl maps are submitted I will play CP-PL-CP-PL-CP) but the maps will always be placed in the gameday in order of submission time.
  5. I may keep playing maps after the end of the gameday. If there is another VIP/Admin on then they can take my place as host, if they are available to do so.
  6. FOR THIS GAMEDAY: There will NOT be a 2-minute bonus feedback round at the end of each map. This is because I am not able to talk over voice at the moment and organizing this would be tricky without it. There will still be this bonus round in Egan's gamedays, and possibly in future Friday gamedays as well, but for now, I will not be running the feedback round.
You MAY request:
  • A TIME EXTENSION if and only if: your map is a mature non-arena map in need of fine tuning, this will be placed at the end of the initial 2 hours
  • A SPECIFIC TIME SLOT for any reason, just be sure to include either a specific time or a specific slot (e.g., 5:00 PM EST or 4th map played)
  • NO CRITS for any reason, simply ask either with your post or during the gameday. Crits are enabled by default.

I hope it went well. Sorry about not being able to do a feedback round, at this point it ended up kind of just being a glorified, scheduled imp. Hopefully I can improve upon myself and make the next one better.

Giving half an hour per CP map didn't leave much time for feedback rounds. I think the feedback rounds are just rest periods for focusing feedback. In future it might be an idea to cut some maps short and have a feedback round.
