Hammer giving problems? (game selection)

So, to make it short (because ive got no time :p )
ive added a game to the hammer of tf2, whit his configuration, since then hammer starts up whit that game (TF2C) and doesnt ask me anything, if i want to map on the normal TF2 i need to go manually in the option tab and change it from there, any advices on how to fix this?

Are you opening hammer from steamapps/ common/ team fortress 2/ bin?

I don't understand what you have done. How did you add TF2C to TF2's Hammer? TF2's Hammer (Team Fortress 2/bin/Hammer.exe) is set up to work with TF2, it's not supposed to have other games added to it.

Well, ive started up hammer, gone to the option tab, and ive clicked edit, next to the game configuration, then I clicked ADD wrote the nome and applied, then ive added everything in the respective tabs.

Doing this should make that when i start up hammer he ask me if i want to start up hammer for TF2,TF2C or half life2 as usual.

You can't do that with the Hammer that comes with TF2. You must manually change all the options to switch between TF2 and TF2C.

Instead, if you have TF2C installed you should also have Source SDK 2013 Multiplayer installed. Go to Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer/bin and open and configure the Hammer in there.

i know how to map on tf2c, so? i am not an official mapper :p
Buti sent an email to the lead tho, soon after that ive relaized ive sent bad examples in a rush, but this is a story for another day (still the lead didnt responded me lol)

No worries. The TF2C team is tied up at the moment working on the next update that has some new features.

If you wanted to map for TF2C you could stick around here and try mapping for TF2. Then you could convert your maps for use with TF2C later on. We have some people who are familiar with the mapping requirements for TF2C, including a person who is on the TF2C team. You could hang out with us in the Steam group chat room.
