Is that genuinely a thing? Is that absolutely guaranteed 100% a thing? I'm satisfied. I will forgive the ugly water reflection for that train, and that says a lot.

Where's the train on Glassworks? All it has is a c0w.

Some feedback (which might be more useful for the regular version):

  • The distance from spawn to the first set of buildings is way too long. It's painful as heavy to go this distance, and even annoying as a soldier since it takes at least 2 rocket jumps to reach the first health kit.
  • This distance from spawn also allows enemies that have moved forward to take greater advantage of the first set of buildings -- there's plenty of time to kill a couple of folks from high ground, move down and take the ammo/health, and reset back to the high ground before the next group comes in -- with a shorter distance, this would be harder to do. Right now, it's pretty easy to do once you get in there with a soldier or demo
  • The crocodile is not well marked as a hazard -- the water is murky and the map is dark, making it hard to see the bones, and the bones are not an obvious hazard indicator like the cliff "death" sign. Acceptable for a halloween map, but the croc needs to be handled better if it's a hazard on the regular version
  • Using the mouse spell, I was flying low to rocket blast folks, then flying high while reloading for another dive bomb... when suddenly something at the top of the skybox just outright kills me at full health. If you don't want people going that high into the skybox, clip it, but please don't just slay them without warning
  • As mentioned by someone else, it really does need some sort of route onto the point from the low ground. A simple staircase would by immensely helpful. Otherwise fully half of mid is a complete disadvantage to be in when defending/taking/holding the point.
  • Otherwise, it's a really fun map. Not sure how I'd rate it amoung the four that got in -- probably 3rd since I have a ton of fun on this and Sinshine, but Sinshine's problems are smaller. So... Gorge(1st but it was good as a valve map, so is this even fair to rate?), Sinshine (2nd), Moonshine (a very very close 3rd -- maybe more like a tied for 2nd), and then hellstone (a very distant 4th).

If you end your "mouse" spell touching anything that you could get caught on while expanding, it will kill you. Promise we don't have anything up there that kills you.

Also, the croc hazard is a throw back to the old standard version of this that had that in it, but it won't be there for the updated stock version.

Thanks for the feedback though! We'll take it into consideration for the update we plan to do for the stock version.

Ahh, I didn't know that. That had to be what it was then. It happened shortly after an "incident" with the croc, which is why I assumed it was a map issue.
