Copy pasting entities

How do you copy and paste entities? I looked at the sticky which said on keys but im neither blind or its not there, even used ctl+f to find it , anyways, what are the keys to copy and/or paste entities?

(shift+m1)
remember to hold shift while moving the objects around, if you forget to have shift selected before you release m1... it will move. Oh just quick tip: you don't have to hold shift until you are ready duplicate, even if your moving the object around. also ctrl(cmnd)+C and +V is also viable

You can use the standard Windows copy and paste shortcuts if you like. The pasted entities will appear at the pisition of the mouse pointer but will likely not be on-grid.

Copy: Ctrl+C
Cut: Ctrl+X
Paste: Ctrl+V

These commands are available for selected entities in the Edit menu, and also when you right-click the 2D grid view.

Paste Special allows you more control over the duplication of entities, including adding increasing numbers to the ends of their names, so you can have them all uniquely addressable.
