What you do when you don't like to map?

I just take large breaks between mapping when I can't see the point of finishing a map and I keep making the same mistakes. I just end up lurking around on the forums and joining in on playtests. But when I'm not mapping, I'm playing tf2 or just taking a break from it and playing other games like XCOM and Fallout and the occaisonal S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
I've always found that not masturbating actually makes me more motivated. But you know, different strokes for different folks.
