Ok gentlemen, I need you opinion.
Assuming I'm trying to recreate a setting of a Mayan temple somewhere high in the cloudy, foggy Yucatan mountains, which one do you think fits best?

Note: the second one is with the settings of Borneo and even though it looks a bit gray-blueish, I personally think it emulates the foggy feeling better. But the first screenshot looks warmer... so yeah.

I prefer the second. It looks more interesting, to me. I think fighting would contrast better against that backdrop, too.

The first one really catches what most think of when they think 'Mayan ruins', but the second one is quite mysterious, and even Halloween-looking...

It really depends on the other details in/your vision of the map. If you're going for a bright, clear, ruins-have-been-fully-claimed-by-the-teams aesthetic, go with the first, but if you want a misty, almost damp, unexplored ruins vibe, I would day go with the second.

They're so different, I'm not sure if there is a true 'better option'.

I agree with KubeKing. The bluer one seems almost as if it's haunted and forgotten.
Considering the quick Google image search I just did, a lot of the Yucatan mountains are lush and green, which would seem to fit either one of these lighting environments. You need both rain and sunshine pretty regularly to have a very green ecosystem, I guess. It could just be the advertised side of it, though. I've never been there before.

The first one is better. The second one looks like someone really fucked up atmospheric perspective really bad.

I like the first one, as well. Looks like an actual environment, and reminds me of videos I've seen of Machu Picchu (I know you aren't going for Inca though). The second looks like it would be easier to see players/bots though.

I like the more yellow of the two. The other is really blue, the yellower lighting ties the whole scene together more and the clouds blend nicely with it, they're very harsh in the blue one.
