Yes, that's right. Other than that it's normal Arena mode.

Yep

This has the added bonus of those pesky scouts who cap then run straight back to cap again, can't do the second part. They get to cap, and then they're dead.

It also removes the bonus from capping quickly. There's no point being the first person to cap if no one on your team is dead yet. Sure a quick cap when you need it is useful but it doesn't make it feel like the only class worth playing is scout.

Another thing is that it helps against people bodyblocking the point, which is a minor problem in Utilia.

Well then your team loses and you will be dead anyway.

Current changes for the next version:
  • Added a trigger_push in the pit and lowered cap sensors to prevent jump exploits
  • Moved flags so they can be picked up without jumping
  • Added respawnroom brush so classes can be changed for the first 10 seconds of a round

What happens if you're the last person on your team and you sacrifice yourself? Will your team lose immediately when you die?

unsurprisingly, that was one of the major and most obvious test cases. The respawn is triggered before you die.

YM what's the idea behind the dev brush cylinder things? I saw them in your pl map too, and even asked in chat but got no answer. And now I see them here again, around the pyramid.
They looks like huge dev hands. That's really what they look like. I can't see the idea behind it, unless it's some new concept for tf2, the hand theme. It obviously ain't hands, but I have no idea what it is meant to be.

Actually the hand theme idea is really great. I might already be making a hand themed map by the time you read this.

It's tree roots over rocks. The trunks and branches aren't there yet because they don't need to be.
