So, this is my first map ever. It's a Symmetrical Koth map which I have been trying to focus around the point more than other koth maps, hopefully it works out.

As far as screenshots go, it looks pretty flat and open, but I guess only testing will tell how overpowered sniper positions are. It's also pretty confusing that you used Red and Blue dev textures for the teams' respective sides but then made the whole middle red.

In screenshots 1 and 3 you appear to have a concrete floor with a rock formation jutting out of it. I'd be interested in knowing how that occurred naturally :lol:

yeah none of these textures at all are final, I want to stress that. I am going to go for a displaced Harvest-looking ground.

And I think that making the point a barn like I said would fix up Sniper/Soldier/Demoman power levels.

The biggest problem I can see is the openness of the area around the control point and how it doesn't provide many interesting pathways. That can be fixed if you redo mid into a more viaduct-style mid, which I think will work better with your map due to the way that your spawn routes are crafted.

Other than that, I like the attention to detail and the interesting geometry that is being made. This map has potential, so don't give up on it. Good work.

New Release! Thanks to all the people who playtested at the US Gameday. I really hope I can come along for the next one!

Wasn't happy with the quality of them. I will return to these maps when the time comes, for now i'm sorry. If you wanna play new custom maps just join the tf2maps steam group and it will announce when we are playing new maps. You might even see satori again.
