Glass Glitch When Shot (nodraw brush > glass textured)

I have a few issues I can't seem to work out.

This is the most frustrating. I have windows in my map (5 large ones) and 3 of them (all on faces the same axis lengthwise) have this glitch. When you shoot a certain spot on the window the glass texture changes. It doesn't disappear entirely, but the cloudy look to the glass vanishes. The diamond pattern security wire in the glass does stay.

Before Shooting: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=502931297
After Shooting: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=502931308

Things I have tried.

- I built the brush with nodraw, then retextured both sides to the glass
- I re-textured the problem glass back to nodraw then retextured to glass
- I deleted and built the brush from scratch (nodraw to glass texture)
- I have never used the carve tool on this map

Any help would be appreciated, I can't figure this out.

(it's tough to see in the screens, but the wire inside the glass [diamonds] is still there)

I have 2 error in interlopers log checker, but neither is glass related. (prop is set to wrong type and skybox error)

I'm also struggling to find a nice way to trim things out. Using chromemetal for now, but really dont care for its render in-game. Any suggestions for a trim texture? Concrete walls and tile floors.

Have you verified your cache? Does alt+p in Hammer return anything? I don't think it has to do with that glass brush.

I have the same issue when I make a new map and test them without lighting.
Just add lighting in your map and the issue is gone.

Verified both SDK and TF2, Alt+P= No Errors Found.

Thanks for the help either way :)

Thank you so much. I'm not to the lighting stage yet, but I will surely try this.

Wow, I didn't even notice it was fullbright. Yes, that's your issue. You can just throw up basic garbage light ents to test and delete them later.
