A silly ctf map. It's called bunker because I have no idea what to call it.


Features an elevator

and

breakable glass (just to get that "I'm stealing your shit yo!" feeling)


Everyone loves those, right?

I started screwing with HL2 and trying to make a map with a few special things in it, and it made me a little more open to cool gameplay gimmicks. I always wished TF2 had more room for dynamic stuff. Map looks great.

Edit: also i think you should add a push trigger to the elevator when the door closes to pull people into it so they don't die, because that's not really fun. Also your push trigger on the water at bottom mid is a little too fast compared to the animation.

I have to say, the layout is really impressive, assuming that the players get funnleled to the intel, unlike most ctf maps where they funnel you to mid.

Pushtrigger on the elevator door would be kinda hard, since there is no way to know if a player wants to get in or out of the elevator when the doors are about to close. I think its kinda funny for a person to die just because they could not decide whehter to be in our out of the elevator in time.

I had a major "Interstellar" flashback looking at that 5th screenshot. You have a real talent for making Alphas that seem fleshed out, visualized, and with interesting geometry.

More on the detailing to maybe come:

Hopping on the invasion bandwagon with alien invasion theme on the ground level.

-Flying saucers howering around in the fields
-Bunker acts as a hideout while the teams set up missiles to boom the ufos back to where they came from.
-Teams are fighting over missile launch codes, each team wants the fame of blowing aliens up.

Man it seems like CTF maps get updated so fast, they go from A1 to Beta in a months time, ive seen it happen like 4 times. Is the gameplay just easier to balance or what?

Also looking great Jusa. I'm in love with the layout/setting.

Bunker [ B2 ]

-Fixed spawnrooms, you can no longer carry the intel inside the spawns.
-Added nobuild on top of the consoles on top of the intel room
-Repacked missing content
-Changed the 2nd floor small healthkit behind a crate thing a bit so you can actually get the medkit now and build sentries on the little ledge.
-Few minor detailing changes
