I hang out in the steam group chat sometimes; figured I might try to do that 72hr contest as an exercise.

I've done some Source mapping in my time, but mostly for Portal 2 and such. Here's a couple of pictures of things I've made so I can show off:
A Portal map
And a deathmatch map with 2much bloom

Hey, welcome to the forums! Im going to be doing the 72hr for the first time too this year. Nice job on the portal map, looks pretty cool. And you weren't lying about the deathrun map, it does have too much bloom. Heh. So yeah, welcome

I think 72h contest is a great way to start if you can handle the pressure of making a map in 72 hours.
