1: Don't make cubemaps in alpha
2: I understand why you chose that name, but, gonna be honest, it sucks. "2woodmountain" is a mouthful to say. I would shorten it to "woodmount" or something.

Proposing that we compile a list of double entendres and innuendos that HQ shouldn't use as map names.

It's true that cubemaps are a tad unnecessary in alpha, but they're good to have if you've got a lot of reflective textures in it (ie glass, water, those shiny Spytech tiles etc). Otherwise you end up with a map that buggers the eyes with its neon-pink reflections all over the place. (I'm not seeing much of that in this map but it's just something to bear in mind.)

Also 2woodmountain isn't a bad name. It's got no more syllables in it than Thunder Mountain (and fewer than Badwater Basin, in fact) and it rolls off the tongue well.

The best thing to do in alpha is just place one cubemap. No sense in moving a million env_cubemaps around all the time and you avoid the pink.

I did a little run-through of the map, and I have some things to note.
First, the trains have no warning bells. You should probably add some so people won't suddenly get run over by trains that seem to appear from nowhere

Second, it seems most of the inner base is made up of long hallways with the occasional room, like 2fort's inner but much bigger. It also feels that it takes a while just to get to the intel room, mostly because the hallways seem to twist and turn at serveral points. This is only my point of view, so you probably want to test it with others

Or do name it woodmount. Who knows? If its good enough and valve adds it (hah!) then we could all laugh at the inappropriate name being in TF2 as an official map.

Like everyone else I'm not digging the name. Came in with a negative idea; though I will say it was a pleasant surprise to see decent lighting and geometry.

I see someone used my map name generator ;)

Sorry to offtopic a bit, but link to that?

How about Green Mountain? or Fort Mountain? Or Fortress Peak?

I like the name. It's a bit more memorable and it seems to describe the map.

Dammit. Why's it so hard for me to name something NOT stupid.

(But at least take the 2 out of the title. It just seems really wonky to me, but that's my opinion)

EDIT: You know, this just came to mind: What is this world coming to when the dumb sex joke context takes precedence over it's actual meaning.

Well, it's one where people are talking about it a lot, at least. I knew someone who once speculated that Americans' obsession with talking about sex is a sign they're not actually having very much of it compared to other parts of the world, but I dunno.

Also I'm in favor of dumb but distinctive names because it means if your map doesn't work out and gets discarded then at least you haven't taken up a name someone else might want. We're kind of running out of them, at this point. You can always rename it later.
